The hits just keep on coming for basketball at the University at Buffalo. Two days after Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack left UB for the same position at Syracuse University – her alma mater – the Bulls’ leading scorer Dyaisha Fair announced that she is entering the transfer portal.

“After much consideration and with excitement for what my future holds, I have decided to place myself in the transfer portal, opening doors for more opportunities,” Fair said on Instagram after many kind and heartfelt words for her coaches, teammates, fans, and Buffalo.

Fair, a 5-5 junior guard from Rochester, NY, led the Bulls in soring, netting 23.4 points per contest, leading the MAC and ranking fourth nationally. She was an All-MAC First Team selection this year as well.

There is speculation that Fair will follow Jack to Syracuse, although nothing is confirmed. Jack became the first women’s basketball player to have her number retired at Syracuse this past winter.
